Department of Electrical Engineering

The Department of Electrical Engineering at the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad is one the centers of excellence in electrical engineering in Iran. The three electrical engineering degree programs (B.S., Masters, and Ph.D.) follow the general aims of the Iranian higher education system. Benefiting from distinguished and outstanding human resources, the Department of Electrical Engineering provides professional, dynamic, and research-oriented graduates who have entrepreneurship capabilities to fulfill the society’s needs in Science and Technology.

Our department is one of the country’s poles of education and research in electrical engineering, which by benefiting from the elite and educated human resources, aims at training engineers who are both skillful and following professional ethics. In this respect, we endeavor to prepare an appropriate environment for both education and research in electrical engineering, commensurate with the dignity and exceptional place of Ferdowsi University among Iranian universities. Stimulating entrepreneurship and creative attitude is a main priority of me and my colleagues in the department of electrical engineering.

We are proud and privileged that the alumni of this department are working in the well-known scientific and industrial centers in the country. As our duty, we pave the way for solving problems synchronously to the society, and are sure that in this respect, our students can play a very constructive and important role.
